Wine Barrel Staves

We have some authentic oak wine barrel staves. All of the staves are from barrels that originally held red or white wine from various California . These are a great source for DIY projects.

How many staves in a wine barrel? The wine barrel is an airtight 52 gallon (200 liter) charred barrel made of 31 to 33 staves with two lids (ends) made of American white oak (Quercus alba) held together by six steel hoops and twelve rivets.
